Fender seats don’t need to be restricted to traditional fireplaces, and we have made several for use outdoors. They work very well as a feature for outdoor fires, chimeras, fire pits and outdoor ranges. Obviously they need to be designed with the Great British weather in mind (appropriate base materials and seat coverings), or maybe you are lucky enough to have a holiday property in drier climes? What could be better than sitting around an open fire outdoors on a comfy fender seat toasting marshmallows and enjoying a fine bottle of wine!
