Tom Lane set up Rockingham Fender Seats over 35 years ago, to manufacture bespoke fireside seats, after being inspired by his own original Edwardian fender seat.
Unfortunately Tom passed away in 2015 but Martin Cowling, who worked crafting fenders at Rockingham Fender Seats for many years, is now running and growing the business whilst still getting his hands dirty making the fender seats. In recent years, his daughter Erin has now joined the team.
